Today is 17 years since my Dad died. I don’t feel like talking. You can look at Samson biting his way out of a paper bag, and then we’ll take a walk in Three Rivers. Maybe later I can draw some water from one of these rushing river photos.

I’m sorry, my friend. He sounds like a neat man, and with fun insights into your art too.
Photos instead of words is nice sometimes too.
Your stone pathway is wonderful! I have always been drawn to moss and stone, and mysterious pathways.

I understand … it has been 11 years …
Jana,
You do not need to talk or reply. Your dad was a good friend, a wonderful example of a Godly Christ centered man, and a source of enjoyable and good humor for me. I have some great stories and memories of him from times we spent together. Just this morning, while at our kitchen sink, I got the idea to pray for your sister Laura right then; and I did. Wonder if the Holy Spirit was at work? Your dad and mom have been blessed to have three precious daughters; and you are one of them! Thanks for sharing about your dad this morning.
I know how you feel. It’s been almost 20 years since I lost my father and I still miss him like crazy. You just never get over it.
But your photos were lovely. I especially liked the stairs with the rock walls on either side. Beautiful! Well, they all were.
Take care, drink a toast to your dearly departed, and give an extra hug to those still with you.

Your pictures and your art speak for you
Thinking of you today.
