Happy Birthday, Oh Captain, My Captain!

This will be an entirely personal post. Skip it if you came here for Mineral King or art. Return tomorrow for Mineral King.

“The Captain” is how I refer to this fabulous birthday girl. She is my closest friend (one of several that I consider my BFFs, although how can there be more than one “best”?), who knows almost everything about me and loves me anyway, and is a blessing to everyone she encounters.

    • Jennifer, I could have gone on and on and on with the photos! After posting, I kept thinking of other photos from other times together. Thank you for enjoying the post – it was another personal one that I wasn’t sure belonged on the blog. Then I decided it is my blog, so sometimes I get to go rogue.

      • Go rogue! We’re here to read what’s on your heart — that’s you. 🙂

        Jennifer
