This is a Christmas card inspired by the ornament that I painted for the White House Christmas tree last year. It was printed from an oil painting titled “Snowy Sequoias II” and will be with me at the Holiday Open House today, Saturday, November 22. (It is for sale, but I’d rather sell it in person than over the internet.) The cards are 5×7″ and blank inside. They are available through my website on the Notecards page https://www.cabinart.net/notecards_new.shtml $10 for 4 cards and also available through Sequoia Gifts and Souvenir.

Hi Jana
I love your ..now mine.. painting of the Sequoia! (one of a series?) It now hangs proudly in my living room and reminds Barry & I of the good old days of GSI & Giant Forest! What a pleasure to see this painting everyday!
Of course, we also have one of your sketches of the GF market! I just love that the sign, in the sketch anyway, still says Giant Forest Market. Oh, the good old days!
Merry Xmas & Thank you!
PS. The frame is PERFECT for the Sequoia painting!

Hi Jana,
I love your new card! Your art always gets me hankering for a road trip up your way! Gotta love those big trees….especially when we live out here in the desert. Not complaining though, since we have Joshua Trees…..but your art is inspiring!
Happy Thanksgiving! Lisa
Jana you outdid yourself on this one; of course you do such great work. I was really trying hard last night to figure out what it was, I thought it had to with a tree but it looked like it was lying down. The snow covered trees that I see now looked to me like clouds, so I guess I am not real good yet at seeing shapes. Have a great day at your show, sorry we cannot make it today.
