Lesson learned

Okay, here is something so you won’t have to learn the hard way.  When you keep your palette on top of a ladder like this,

don’t move the ladder!!

Bummer. That was a waste of paint and time. Might have to sand the floor when i am finished with this job. Should have figured that into the bid!

  1. Jana, I was painting a ceiling in a house we lived in once – just giving the ceiling a much needed coat of new paint – when my son ran through the room and surprised me so much that I knocked over the can of paint. Small can, but the floor was carpeted, so it was really yucky after that :-(. Temporarily, we threw an old rag rug over the spot, but naturally, when we left that place, we had to pay the landlord for a new carpet. I’ll never forget that one….

  2. Call it a reflecting pool, original art, your “light” blue period… whatever. Then tell them you decided to throw it in for free.
