Thank you, that’s encouraging. A neighbor here gave me several cuttings of Iris and told me it would grow and thrive on neglect. I waited two years and finally this spring saw two flowers out of maybe 15 plants. And did I tell you about the time I tried to grow tomatoes? Spent a fortune on a pot a wire climber, plants, fertilizer, soil, and got one cherry tomato. It was delicious, but still …
Sharon, they’ve done great in pots for me. When they are finished, I’ll let them dry up, and ignore them all summer. (Haha, deer, no more geraniums for you.)

I have about a zillion irises around the yard, and just a handful actually bloom. “Oh, you have to divide them!” Ahem. I did. Sigh.
Such a plethora of color! I love that God splashes such beauty after a cold, dark winter. It’s His wake-up call!
Are daffodils easy to grow in pots? Asking for a black-thumbed friend.
