Here is a peculiar sight. The fan carries away toxins created by the welding of galvanized metal. Who knew?
Isn’t this a nice photo? These 2 men have worked together for years. Kind of just warms your heart, no?
This one is even better! It is my personal favorite. This man would rather be climbing Vandever than contemplating matters of consequence while wearing a uniform beneath it. Gotta commend him on his work ethic – knows the cabin folks are counting on him to be there for them on this project.
And here is one more peculiar sight for you to puzzle over. Hey Sawtooth Six, you paying attention??

Your photos are magnificent….are you sure you didn’t miss your calling as a photo reporter?
I’m just blown away by all your beautiful paintings! Keep your brush flowing!
Thank you Bob! My photos have certainly improved over the years with the help of the editing features on my computer. And I’m way too opinionated to ever be a reporter!
Letting us watch the bridge construction is really appreciated. Next best to being there myself. One question: how do you get the photos out of MK and onto your website? By dial-up (heaven forbid)?
Bruce, I wait to post to my blog until I am home in Three Rivers with DSL!
Paying close attention, Jana!
Thanks for keeping us posted of the developments. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Mike in a hard hat. It looks very uncomfortable compared to the worn straw hat I’m used to seeing. Gotta love the heavy trucks on the bridge that was about to be torn down . . . as a fellow lowly government worker, I’ll keep my comments on that subject to myself.

Thanks, Melissa! Nothing like great scenery, handsome people and good light for a winning photo. . . 😎
Hey Jana,
The thoughtful pose with Michael with the background mtns was great! Thank him for all his hard work! See you Friday or Sat!
