The three small redwood oil paintings are completed and for sale at Anne Lang’s Emporium in Three Rivers (or you can contact me directly.)

But wait! There’s more (in progress). This is 11×14″. The canvas began with a portrait of a stranger in a workshop; it was too hard for me, I didn’t know the person, I have no plans to become a portrait artist, so bye-bye, Stranger Face.

Of the three, I like Sunny Sequoias XXXI the best. There’s just a hint of the “red” that gives these magnificent trees their name.
However, the WIP (Work In Progress) at the bottom photo looks promising and might be a contender! Had you thought of keeping the stranger’s face barely in the picture as kind of a ghosty thing?
Sharon, that’s interesting, because I thought XXX showed the best color, and I was considering another coat on XXXI and XXXII! I thought about leaving a hint of face for about a nanosecond, but it just doesn’t fit my “brand”.
