My Uncle Art Yates, who helped renovate our Mineral King cabin when my grandparents bought it in 1950, served in the Air Force (intelligence dept. on the airfield) during the Korean War. He was stationed in Okinawa, and I’m glad he’s still around to thank in person.
Thank you to all Veterans, past, present, future, for serving our country and protecting our freedom!

Thanks for thinking of us!
Always, Dan. I am so appreciative of your sacrificial service that continues to this day.

From a grateful citizen.
Sharon, what a treat to still have an uncle, and one who served our country too!
Yes! He’s a spry 92 now, but still hanging in there! Kathy, bless her heart, helps him out almost daily, since he lives alone.
