. . . is now finished! (although still wet and shiny in these photos)
Now, will the old shutter be stout enough to support a hanging wire? More will be revealed in the fullness of time.

Jana, I love it! You should do more of those. Maybe some floral ones. I would consider purchasing one if it’s within my meager budget…LOL Although you are worth every dollar!!!
Aw shucks, Jodi, thank you! I can only paint on an old shutter when one appears in my life. They aren’t in abundant and ready supply!
Love it! Did you consider extending the painting to the edge of the shutter and to the cross boards on the top and bottom? Just curious as to what that would have looked like.
Didn’t consider it, Sharon, but I could fake it on Photoshop. Nah, I’d rather read a book.
Don’t blame you. I’d rather crochet!
I LOVE it! It turned out great!
Is it for sale?
Anne, thank you! It is for sale after I determine if it will support hanging hardware and then figure out a fair price. Because I am not doing any shows, I just sort of let that business end of things slide.
Are you interested? Want to make an offer? Maybe I should auction it off (although it seems a bit heavy to be shipping)!
