This one will last!

Do you remember my posting about the fat girl inside screaming to be left alone?  Now I have the solution to those flimsy chairs:

These redwood chairs are made locally by Bob Kellogg of Three Rivers and when I sit in this, my legs stick out like Alice in Wonderland! It is my throne, and sometimes I am the Red Queen.

  1. Thanks, Gina! I’m looking forward to seeing Karl’s photographic visions of this part of the world! And I just fixed the posting so you can click on the link and scroll down to the story of me and these chairs.

  2. Not sure if this means that you recently sat in one of your chairs and it broke, or these are just really cool chairs and they make you feel big! Ha! Ha! Just kidding.

Hey, I just read your article in the KCW. I will have to show to Karl and hope he gets inspired to take out that 4×5 camera of his. I can totally relate to what you said about painting subjects, we can say the same for photography. The light at Lemon Cove sometimes is awesome! We are so blessed to have worked and traveled all over the world to some of God’s amazing creations and some man made incredible structures. You are doubly blessed because you have the gift of recreating some of these subjects on canvas, brick wall, or other and getting paid to do it. Sometimes it is good to slow down and be thankful for living and working in such an amazing place that people from all over the world come to “just” visit once in their life.
