- Lots of water, lots and lots and even more.
- Lots of wildflowers – taller, wider variety, new flowers, abundance.
- No bear sightings. None.
- Favorite neighbors The Sawtooth Six did not come as a group. Weird. (Don’t make this a regular practice, you Six!)
- I was there for most of July; no workshops, no lessons, no commissions, no shows, no books, no trips, no one dying in my family, no projects. Nice.
Samson didn’t think it was such a great summer. Don’t worry, Little Buddy. We’re home now for a long long time.

Not only lots of wildflowers, but they lasted later so even I could enjoy them in August!
“The Sawtooth Six.” Sounds like a bunch of rustlers to me!
When I come back from a trip, Bogie is first like, “IMISSEDYOU!IMISSEDYOU!IMISSEDYOU!” Then, “HOWDAREYOULEAVE?HOWDAREYOULEAVE?HOWDAREYOULEAVE?,” wrapping up with, “FEEDME!FEEDME!FEEDME!” And that’s the life of a cat.
Sharon, you are so right – they just went on and on and on. There were still Farewell-to-Spring along the road below Atwell at the beginning of OCTOBER! What a year. . . and don’t let Bogie think he is the boss of you.
